Triarc and Wendy's to Host Conference Call to Discuss the Merger

ATLANTA & DUBLIN, Ohio -- April 30, 2008 -- Triarc Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRY, TRY.B, "Triarc"), the franchisor of the Arby's restaurant system ("Arby's"), and Wendy's International, Inc. (NYSE: WEN, "Wendy's") announced today that they will host a conference call today, April 30, 2008 at 4:00pm Eastern Time to discuss the definitive merger agreement between Triarc and Wendy's.
